Jackson Kids Steal the Show

Following in their father’s footsteps, Prince Michael and Paris proudly took the stage to accept the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2010 Grammy Awards Sunday Night.

With a voice that belied his age, Prince Michael thanked “God for watching over us these past seven months and our grandma and grandpa for their love and support.” Appropriately said.

 Personally, I sat with bated breath as Paris took the mic. Seeing as her last line at her father’s memorial service had me break down in tears, I tried to prepare myself for whatever she had to say.  She gave a quick speech: “Daddy was supposed to be here. Daddy was going to perform last year. Thank you. We love you Daddy.” So cute!

 I have a feeling the kids are going to be in the spotlight many times in the oncoming years. What do you think?
