If you are the owner of one of the following vehicles:
The 2009-2010 RAV4, the 2009-2010 Corolla, the 2009-2010 Matrix, the 2005-2010 Avalon, the 2007-2010 Camry, the 2010 Highlander, the 2007-2010 Tundra and the 2008-2010 Sequoia
Your vehicle is being recalled. Apparently these vehicles have been reported to have gas pedal defects such as getting stuck in the floor board or under car mats, increasing acceleration tremendously and increasing your chance of being involved in an accident. That’s such a scary thought!
If you have one of these vehicles, and have experienced this gas pedal defect, Toyota advises you to firmly apply your breaks and not to pump them. For more information click here.
Toyota’s reputation had definitely been dinged in the US. How do you feel about them? Do you believe they’re still reliable?
